History of the Site
The Lowell Curve site was previously occupied by the Lowell School, a north side landmark from 1887 until its demolition in 1975. The four-story building illustrated below provided a place for the education of generations of elementary school students. As recently built schools have required larger sites, this space became available for redevelopment as new homes.
